Courtney Parker
(PTA)
Courtney went to Liberty University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She started working as a tech for AHPT in early 2021. During the fall of 2022, she started school at Frederick Community College and was a part of the first cohort for the Physical Therapist Assistant program. She graduated with her Associates of Applied Science as a physical therapist assistant in May of 2024. Shortly after gradating, she began her career as a PTA with Amber Hill. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Courtney chose PT because she wanted to help people. She enjoys seeing them get better, return to the things they did before injuries, and improve their quality of life. She enjoys working in the outpatient orthopedic setting, but she also enjoys working with the pediatric population with a variety of diagnoses.
Courtney loves to travel with her husband, exercise, bake, hike, spend time with family, and take her dog (Ocean) for walks. She and her husband moved to Frederick a few years ago and enjoy living there.
