AH New Market is amazing, all the way around!! Several years ago, I went there, after seeing many doctors, specialists and other PT’s. Kelly was the first one I saw at AH. After about 15 minutes with her, I was able to stand again!! Years of unnecessary pain, that she was able to identify and fix!! I have the utmost respect for her as a doctor and as a person!! She is beyond smart and is a true healer!! Water therapy was recommended to me, as I can’t do land based exercise. Kyle Staley worked with me on a water program, increasing it as needed and tolerated. He is an absolute gem! Patient, warm and bright, he will work with you at whatever level you are at! I am so grateful for both Kelly and Kyle!! I have not worked with Lisa, yet, but she is a ray of sunshine!! I have had great conversation with her and have watched her work with others, with enthusiasm and warmth. Last, but not least, the front desk/techs greet you with a smile and are there to help with whatever you may need. THANK YOU AH, New Market, for always welcoming me and making my life better!! You guys rock!!

I’ve been treated here for about 5 weeks, and I have nothing but good to say. I’ve had to change my appt a few times, and when I call to reschedule am treated with polite understanding. Ashley is super friendly, organized, and cares about YOU! I also like Kelly, who is extremely professional, encouraging and sweet. Tommy shows compassion, and has amazing patience, is kind and thorough. I have a shoulder injury.

My flexibility and strength in my core are at an all-time high

After being in denial about getting help for my ongoing back issues for 4 years, I finally made the leap. The crew at AH are all respectful, knowledgeable and understanding. They are driven to help you. They are willing to answer your questions the best they can. I love talking to them while doing my stretches, it both takes my mind off the work, and its nice not feeling like you’re a patient. You almost become friends. When I first went, I started off with a twice-a-week physical therapy regimen, although this helped significantly with gaining my flexibility and strength back and continues to do so, I was speaking with Kelly about other options that may help my pain management and she mentioned to me about “dry needling” and that I may be a good candidate for it. She stated it may help release and ease the muscular pain I was having as a result of my neglect and tense muscles and I must say I was scared at first; but she is very gentle, knowledgable, she explains in great detail what she is doing and what to expect. The entire time she communicates with me about how I’m feeling during the procedure, and if I have exercises to do afterward, she will check in on me to make sure I’m doing okay. My back reached a turning point after she released 2 very sore muscles directly next to my lower spine. A large amount of the pain went away and the muscles were relaxed again. I look forward to the physical therapy and the dry-needling appointments so much. My pain is dissipating, my flexibility and strength in my core are at an all-time high, my bending measurements are higher than they’ve been in years. I can’t thank the staff enough for helping me and continuing to help me. They’re my heroes. They’ve given me a better quality of life than I’ve had in years and I hope that I’ll be living a more active, less pain life. I appreciate them and recommend them with every inch of my being.

Just finished physical therapy with Heather and Zach for a shoulder impingement. I cannot speak well enough of both PTs but also the office staff. Wonderful people and have my shoulder feeling great. Highly recommend both.

I have seen so much improvement in my arm/shoulder

The Amber Hill Physical Therapy Center in Jefferson is wonderful! I have seen so much improvement in my arm/shoulder since they have been working with me. Heather and Zachary are AWESOME! I was blessed to work with them and I’m thankful for the treatment they provided. I have nothing but praise for the Jefferson Center. Their staff is amazing, caring and professional from their welcoming receptionist (thanks, Grace!) to their friendly PT staff. I highly recommend the Amber Hill PT Jefferson Center.

I went to the Frederick location. Mike and everyone there was great.! Mike was wonderful. He listened and then went to work his magic. If something wasnt 100% feeling right , he pulled another exercise out of his vast knowledge of the workings of the human body. Great experience

I have had several experiences at Amber Hill for both PT and OT and have always received very professional, skilled, and compassionate care. They will fit you into one of their many locations for emergencies! I have now been to Damascus, Monrovia and Frederick and can’t say enough good things about their wonderful staff, therapists, and assistants!

I'm pain-free thanks to this group

Make these people your people! I had been having pains in my wrists and arms. My doctor referred me to Amber Hill. The staff there is amazing. Heather did my evaluations and my treatment plan. She is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Sophia has been working with me on the scheduling. She is super patient and understanding. Grace is the sweetest person. She has made me feel comfortable while there. Zach is my main man. He is also very knowledgeable. He listens and makes you feel at home. All the staff that I’ve worked with has listened to my needs and concerns and addressed all my questions. I’m pain-free thanks to this group.

Friendly and professional environment.

I appreciate the time that you and your staff invested in me. Given plenty of encouragement by you and the rest, I was able to recover at a comfortable yet rapid pace. All of the smiling faces and constant interest in my development through your physical therapy program made the entire process more interesting and kept me motivated. I will certainly miss seeing the whole group each week but realize that, with the help of your leg strengthening therapy, I will more than likely not have to return.

I improved my range of motion in my shoulder.

When I first came to Amber Hill Physical Therapy, my left shoulder was completely ‘frozen’ and very painful due to osteoarthritis. I could barely use it. Thanks to the knowledgeable, capable, and caring staff at Amber Hill, my goal was realized after 11 visits over five weeks. Everyone always made me feel welcome and important. My therapists explained what caused my condition and what our goals were. They outlined an exercise plan to increase the motion and decrease the pain in my arm and shoulder. This was accomplished beyond my expectations. My arm is almost as good as new. My upward reach increased by a foot and I am virtually pain-free.

What a wonderful group to work with! Everyone is so friendly, helpful and most assuredly kind. The entire atmosphere at AHPT was one of a great place to come to and heal. Having been in therapy for lower back pain in a therapy clinic years ago (where we were rushed in and out as fast as they could so they could make “more money” out of the next client), I was so impressed. At no time did I ever feel rushed to get out so that another patient could be taken care of. I felt just as important as any other patient in your care and the knowledge made me feel I was special to each of you.”
